On Ice Skills
Every day, athletes spend 75 minutes on the ice building the foundational skills that elevate their game. Sessions focus on stride mechanics, puck control, passing, shooting, and skating efficiency through high-tempo drills and intentional repetition. Players are challenged with fun, competitive elements like relay races, shootouts, and small area games that reinforce skill under pressure. Our goal is to develop confident, dynamic players who can execute with speed, accuracy, and creativity. Every rep has purpose and every session creates measurable progress.
Powerskating / Goalie
Athletes receive 60 minutes of focused training each day dedicated to building speed, balance, and edge control through high-intensity power skating. Skaters develop efficient stride mechanics, explosive acceleration, and better agility to elevate performance in real game situations. Goalies receive personalized instruction tailored to their skill level, focusing on positioning, movement, tracking, and confidence in the crease. Our specialized coaching ensures every athlete, regardless of position, gains tools that translate directly to competitive play.
Gameplay
Every day features 90+ minutes of full ice, 5-on-5 gameplay designed to translate skills into real competition. Athletes are challenged to apply skating, shooting, and decision making at game speed, while learning to read plays, support teammates, and compete with confidence. Coaches provide real-time feedback to help players improve positioning, awareness, and execution shift to shift. This high tempo environment encourages creativity, resilience, and smart hockey instincts. It’s competitive, exciting, and the ideal setting for players to grow through experience.
Off Ice Activities
Our off ice program is designed to build stronger athletes and stronger teams. Players take part in a variety of activities including soccer, ball hockey, strength and conditioning, and yoga to improve mobility, coordination, and overall athleticism. Team building challenges help athletes develop communication, leadership, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. These sessions keep players engaged, active, and connected while reinforcing skills that translate back to the ice. It’s a balanced approach that develops better hockey players and better teammates
Lunches
We provide lunch daily for every athlete and staff member to keep players fueled and focused throughout the day. Meals are sourced from local favourites including McDonald’s, Commisso’s Fresh Foods, Joe Feta’s, Big Marcos, and Pizza Jerry’s. Our lunch rotation offers a mix of familiar classics and fresh options that keep players energized and excited for mealtime. We prioritize convenience, quality, and variety so athletes can recharge, relax, and get ready for the next session. It’s one less thing for families to worry about and a highlight our players look forward to each day.
Prize Giveaways & More!
Every day at camp features exciting prize giveaways that reward effort, improvement, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Athletes have the chance to win individual prizes as well as team-based awards, making every session competitive, fun, and motivating. From long-standing traditions to new surprises each summer, these prizes are a highlight for players of all ages. It’s an experience families look forward to and a big reason they’ve been coming back for over 40 years. The excitement on and off the ice keeps the energy high and the memories unforgettable.
